Kitchen configurator with price calculation

A kitchen is priced per linear metre: the lower run separately and the upper run separately, because the upper run is shorter and carries no worktop. Choose the front material, the worktop and the hardware — the total is recalculated at once and the drawing shows the run with dimension lines. The quote lists fronts, worktop, hardware and every drainer and sink. The sum is preliminary; the final figure is confirmed by our surveyor from the drawing. Sliding wardrobes are priced on the next page.

What moves the kitchen total most

In the order you feel it in the quote.

Front material

The largest line of the quote. Melamine board is the baseline; foil-wrapped MDF costs around a third more; matt and acrylic MDF run at twice the baseline and above. The upper run is priced with a coefficient, because those modules are shallower than the lower ones.

Hardware

Blum and Hettich against ordinary runners — a percentage surcharge on the fronts, because it follows the number of doors and drawers. The most expensive thing you never see, and the reason a kitchen either works for years or starts catching within one.

Worktop

Postformed laminate keeps the price down, compact laminate costs twice as much, quartz composite six times as much as postformed. It is priced along the lower run, which is where long kitchens become noticeably more expensive.

What happens after you send the build

  1. The build arrives whole

The enquiry carries a code: the run lengths, materials, hardware, fittings and the calculated sum. The manager opens your configurator with that code and sees exactly what you saw.

  2. We come out to measure

We measure finished walls at three levels and record every deviation, socket, water and gas outlet. For a kitchen this matters most: the window, the pipes and the extractor decide where the sink and the hob can go.

  3. We confirm the price from the drawing

The configurator quote becomes the order quote: whatever changed after the survey shows up as a line, not as one new number.

The short answers

Why is a kitchen priced per linear metre and a wardrobe per square metre?

Because that is how production prices them. A kitchen is a run of modules of equal depth, so the price follows the length of the run — lower and upper separately. A wardrobe is a carcass of a given height, where area decides: width by height. You will find the same distinction in any cabinetmaker's quote.

Where do the rates come from?

They are our own production prices for materials, hardware and labour, reduced to a rate per linear metre, per square metre and per item. They live on the server in a single file, and the server always recalculates the total from the build code — so a figure edited in the browser carries no weight, and the quote the manager opens matches the one you saw.

Why was the total raised to UAH 25,000?

That is the minimum kitchen order: a short run in baseline materials costs less than the work itself — cutting, edging, drilling, delivery and installation. If your build comes out below the minimum, the page says the total was raised rather than showing a pleasant small figure that would have to be revised later.
